We at Sevier County Schools appreciate your interest in a position with our district. This website is designed to assist you with your job search and to ensure that you understand the requirements that you must meet in order to be employed with our district. The Sevier County Board of Education offers exciting opportunities to work in an atmosphere that promotes our mission to successfully prepare all students for their future. Each employee makes a significant contribution to the success of our students. Prior to applying, teacher candidates who do not already have a valid certificate should review the requirements needed to obtain a Tennessee Teacher License.

*All prospective teachers in the Sevier County School System must go through a screening process before they can interview for a job opening.

Application Process for Certified Professionals

1. Submit a completed application packet to include the following:

• Resume
• Completed application
• Copy of current teaching license(s)
• Copy(s) of college/university transcripts

2. Schedule your screening by calling the central office at (865) 453-4671.

Note: Only applicants who have completed the screening process can be considered for interviews by principals.
