Interactive Whiteboards

Interactive whiteboards are available from several manufacturers. The two most widely used boards in the Sevier County School System include SMART and Promethean. This page includes only a partial list of some free resources for use on these boards.

Promethean Planet Promethean Planet provides search able lessons organized by grade and subject ready to download for use with Promethean's Activstudio and Activprimary lesson-development software. Best practices are highlighted in the monthly "Teacher Feature" that will focus on how educators are optimizing teaching with interactive technology in their classrooms. Promethean Planet features an online forum where teachers can interact with other teachers and share experiences and lesson materials. Online technical support from Promethean is also available.
