UPDATE 8-1-05 The network was upgraded to support Windows XP. This upgrade process has obsoleted the oldest computers and they are longer compatible with the network. This inlcudes all ASI, Aopen and most DTK computers. There is nothing that can be done to make these computers compatible with the network.
If you browser has worked before, then you probably just need to reboot. We occasionally have trouble with the firewall and have to reset the Bordermanger. When that happens all authentication is broken. Rebooting will reconnect you to the Bordermanager and allow the internet to work.
If your browser has never worked your internet proxy is not set up for our proxy server.
In mozilla go to edit-preferences-advanced-proxies click on the button beside automatic proxy URL: and insert http://proxy.sevier.org:1959/data/proxy.pac then click on the reload button.
For internet explorer go to tools-internet options-network connections-choose to be on a lan connection-then manual proxy enter http://proxy.sevier.org:1959/data/proxy.pac and choose next -until you can see the finish button.
For Firefox click Tools-Options-Connection Settings. Click on the button beside automatic proxy URL: and insert http://proxy.sevier.org:1959/data/proxy.pac then click on the reload button.
