I cannot check my sevier.org email account from my home computer
|
Below are the steps to access your sevier.org email account from home or any computer that has internet access.
1) You must establish that you have the RIGHT user name. Normally, that would consist of your first and last name with no spaces. Usernames were created using a list that was given to the Technology Department by the principals of each school. <hint: A daily sign-in sheet was utilized a great deal by principals>
2) Make sure that you are using the correct password. Your password is syncronized with your Novell login. In other words, the password that you use at the novell login prompt on your computer at school is the same password used to access your email.
3) Once you have determined that you are using your correct username and password, you are ready to access email through the internet.
4. On any computer that has "internet access", open the browser normally used on that computer, i.e. Internet Explorer, AOL, Netscape Navigator, etc.
5. In the address line, type WEBMAIL.SEVIER.ORG. No http or www is needed for this process.
6. A box will appear on your screen asking for a username and a password. Type your username and then your password. You should have successfully accessed your email and will see your inbox.
