Mr. Gary Stinnett

Gary Stinnett is in his 1st year as principal.  Before becoming principal, he served as an assistant principal for 5 years at 4 different schools.  He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University, a Masters of Arts in Teaching from East Tennessee State University, and an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Tech University.  Gatlinburg-Pittman is the fourth school Gary Stinnett has served as an administrator.  He has also served at Seymour High School, Seymour Intermediate School, and Northview Academy.   Mr. Stinnett is a member of the Seymour High School Hall of Fame. He formerly coached football, track, and cross country at Seymour High School and also coached cross country at Northview Academy, and track at Seymour Middle School.   Mr. Stinnett is married to Megan Clift Stinnett and they have two daughters, Lily and Ella.

Dr. AJ Bennett

Dr. Bennett is in his 4th year as assistant principal at Gatlinburg-Pittman.  Before his administrative appointment, Bennett was a history teacher and basketball coach at Gatlinburg-Pittman. He is currently the Tennis Coach at GPHS. Dr. Bennett is married to his wife, Kayla, and the two have a son, Thomas.

Mrs. Amy James

Mrs. James joins the staff at Gatlinburg-Pittman with 12 years of administrative experience. Mrs. James was most recently a head womens basketball coach at Johnson University where her team finished 6th at the 2018-2019 National Tournament. Prior to her appointment as the head coach of Johnson University, James spent time with Knox County Schools as a teacher and administrator. James is a member of the Morristown West High School Hall of Fame and Knoxville KIL Coaching Association. Mrs. James and her husband, Chuck, have three children, Molly, Branson, and Colt.
