If interested in taking a course, learning a trade skill, or preparing for an exciting career, CTE may be for you. Please contact a guidance counselor at any of the five high schools or the CTE office at 453-4671 for more information.
CTE Career Clusters
Tennessee's Career & Technical Education consists of 16 nationally recognized career clusters with the ultimate goal of preparing students for success at the postsecondary level and in their chosen careers. Tennessee's career clusters are organized into 16 broad categories that encompass virtually all occupations from entry through professional levels and are aligned with the U.S. Department of Education's structure of career and technical education (CTE).
Career clusters identify the knowledge and skills needed to follow a pathway toward career goals and provide a context for exploring the many occupational options available. Each cluster is divided into different pathways that are grouped by the knowledge and skills required for occupations in these career fields.
