New ESSER Relief Spending Stakeholder Survey

School Lunch Program
For the upcoming 2022-2023 school year, the only students that will receive free or reduced price meals are those meeting the eligibility requirements of the USDA Free and Reduced Price Meal Program. Free and Reduced Price Meal Applications will be available at all school sites during the summer and at the beginning of the new school year.

2022-2023 Pre-Kindergarten Registration
The Sevier County School System will hold Pre-Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-2023 school year on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022.

Launch of Reading 360 & PBS Collaboration; National & Local Celebrities Participating
The Tennessee Department of Education, in collaboration with Tennessee PBS, has launched Starting with Sounds, a Reading 360 statewide awareness campaign to help Tennessee parents and students understand the importance of reading in an engaging and fun way.

At-Home Decodable Book Series
The At-Home Decodable Book Series is now available for free for all Tennessee families of K–2 children to encourage at-home reading practice to help young learners become stronger readers.

Kindergarten Meet the Teacher Day
Meet the Teacher Day for kindergarten students will be August 9th. Your child's teacher will contact you about the time for your drop-in appointment. Students and parents will both attend. Parents are also more than welcome to bring their child's school supplies on August 9th.

Orientation for ALL students will be August 8th from 3:30-5:30.

Special Early Registration Opportunity
A special pre-registration will be held on June 22 and 23, 2022, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. at all Sevier County Schools. Sevier County residents whose children did not attend Sevier County Schools during the last school year, or whose children have not been pre-registered for kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year, are invited to pre-register on either June 22 or June 23.
Students entering Sevier County Schools for the first time must provide a certified birth certificate, Tennessee Certificate of Immunization, and a pre-school physical. Please bring any of these documents you have available. If you need to know where your child will attend school, please call 453-3568. If you have other questions or concerns, please call the school your child will be attending.

Get Ready Routine
Please arrive between 7:00am and 7:45am. Our school day begins at 7:50am, so arriving no later than 7:45 ensures your student can get breakfast and reach their class on time.You may use either the front or rear entrance for morning drop off. The rear entrance will be available until 7:45am.Please remain in your car during both morning drop off and afternoon pick up. No one is to park and walk up to the front doors. If you need to visit the front office for any reason, please return between the hours of 8:15 and 1:45. This will help everyone avoid traffic issues.Please be sure you have a car card for your car rider during afternoon dismissal. If you need additional car cards, please contact your child's teacher.We look forward to a fantastic week with our students! See you soon! -
