Download and set up the app in a few easy steps:

1. From a smart-device, go to the iTunes App Store® or Google Play®.
2. Search for Sevier County School System.
3. Then, select the Sevier County School System free app.
4. App users who only wish to follow the district can select “Close” on the pop-up menu that appears when you download the app.
5. App users who want to follow a school or multiple schools can select the “Choose from list” on the pop-up menu that appears when you download the app. These settings can also be changed later from within the app.

1. Tap on the "Settings" icon.
   
2. Select "Follow schools".
3. Select one or more schools to follow.
4. Select "All" or choose which specific information to follow.

Notifications

Configure the Sevier County School System's mobile app settings to have notifications sent to your device. The app will alert you to any new notifications based on the schools you choose to follow.  App users can receive important messages pushed out through the mobile app to all uesrs or to specific schools by selecting to receive notifications.

If you would like to have push alerts sent to your mobile device make sure to check "Receive inbox messages" for the district and the schools you follow.

After installing the app, users will need to allow notifications on their mobile device. Information on viewing and managing device notifications can be found by visiting:

Activity Stream

The activity stream provides app users with one place to view notifications, announcements, news, and calendar events. All of this information is availalbe in one continuous feed based on the school that an app user selected to follow. Tap on the "Activity Stream" icon and scroll through all of the district and school news, headlines, announcements and events.

Calendar Events

View calendar events for all of the schools you follow in one place. If you would like to add an event to your mobile device calendar, complete the following steps:

1. Tap the "Calendar" icon.
2. Select the event from the calendar you would like to add.
3. Tap "Add to device calendar".
4. Give app access to calendar if necessary.
5. Tap "Add" in the top right corner to add the event to your mobile device calendar.

You can also add a calendar event from the Activity Stream by:

1. Tap the "Activity Stream" icon.
2. Scroll to the event you want to add.
3. Tap the "+" icon.
4. Tap "Add" to add the new event to your mobile device calendar.

1. Tap on the "Settings" icon.
   
2. Tap "Select Language".
3. Choose from over 100 different languages.

1. Tap the "Activity Stream" icon.
2. Scroll to the content or event you would like to share.
3. Click the "share" icon on the bottom right of the content box.
   
4. Choose a method to share (email, text, social media)
