Gary Stinnett has been the GPHS Principal for 3 years.  Before becoming principal, he served as an assistant principal for 5 years at 4 different schools.  He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University, a Masters of Arts in Teaching from East Tennessee State University, and an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Tech University.  Gatlinburg-Pittman is the fourth school Gary Stinnett has served as an administrator.  He has also served at Seymour High School, Seymour Intermediate School, and Northview Academy.   Mr. Stinnett is a member of the Seymour High School Hall of Fame. He formerly coached football, track, and cross country at Seymour High School and also coached cross country at Northview Academy, and track at Seymour Middle School.   Mr. Stinnett has two daughters, Lily and Ella.

Mrs. James has more than 12 years of administrative experience. Mrs. James was most recently the head women's basketball coach at Johnson University, where her team finished 6th at the 2018-2019 National Tournament. Prior to her appointment as the head coach of Johnson University, James spent time with Knox County Schools as a teacher and administrator. James is a member of the Morristown West High School Hall of Fame and Knoxville KIL Coaching Association. Mrs. James and her husband, Chuck, have three children; Molly, Branson, and Colt.

Brian Jessie is in his 2nd year as assistant principal.  Before becoming assistant principal, he served as a teacher and coach for 22 years at 4 different schools.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from East Tennessee State University, a Masters of Education (Educational Leadership) from Northcentral University, and an Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. He was previously Head Coach for football and basketball at Union County High School, Head Coach for basketball at Seymour High School, and Head Coach for basketball at Pigeon Forge High School. Mr. Jessie is married to Phyllis Jessie. They have two daughters (son-in-laws), Sarah Dixon (Cody) and Leslie Kandel (Isaac) and two grandsons, Jordan & Jace Dixon.
