4-H Meeting Dates and Annoucements

  • Any 4-H records that you may still have can be submitted to the 4-H office for any recognition and awards you may have earned this year.  Nothing will be counted against you that you may have missed completing due to COVID-19.  The 4-H office will accept project work folders, secreataries books and service learning scrapbooks until June 10th.  Please note - the 4-H office is still closed at this time and they are working from home.  They are hopeful for a reopening in June.

The easiest way to submit 4-H materials is to mail them to Sevier County 4-H, 752 Old Knoxville Hwy., Sevierville, TN  37862.

Teachers - If you have 4-H folders, you can submit them for your students.  The 4-H staff can come by the school or meet you somewhere to pick them up.  It is important that addresses and phone numbers be on all materials so that awards can be sent to students.  This will need to be added as it is not currently asked for on the forms.  A phone number will suffice, as we can just call.  Also, make sure to include a t-shirt size on the Golden Eagle form.  Teacher signature is not required this year.

For any questions, please contact Glen Turner at gturner2@utk.edu.

You can follow them on FACEBOOK at UT Extension Sevier County for information about 4-H opportunities.

4-H at NIS

  • Here at Northview Intermediate, all students participate in the 4-H program.  This is part of their classroom time and only those students interested participate outside school hours.  Students will write essays, create posters, participate in photography contests, among other things.  Each classroom will elect officers for the year to help conduct each "meeting" with the 4-H representative.  At the end of the year, classes demonstrating excellence in their bookkeeping minutes and participation are eligible for awards.  For more information on 4-H, please contact the 4-H Office at (865) 453-3695.
