Coach Stephanie Marshall
Coach Stephanie Marshall is an alumnus of Gatlinburg-Pittman High School, class of 2011. After graduating from GPHS, Marshall attended the University of Virginia's College at Wise where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education, General Curriculum, Health, and Physical Education in 2016. Coach Marshall later obtained her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Trident University International in 2018. Marshall began working for the Sevier County School System as a Special Education teacher in the fall of 2016 at Pi Beta Phi Elementary School. She also served as an assistant girls basketball coach for GPHS during the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 seasons where the Lady Highlanders made history with two consecutive state tournament appearances. In 2017 Coach Marshall was named the head coach for girls basketball at Caton's Chapel Elementary School and she is now entering her third year at the helm of the Lady Hornets. Her team was named District Champions for the 2018-2019 season and have made two consecutive region tournament appearances with one sub-state appearance. In the summer of 2018 Coach Marshall was hired as the Strength Training and Conditioning Coach for Gatlinburg-Pittman women's sports. Coach Stephanie Marshall is married to Tye Marshall, who serves as the head baseball coach and an assistant football coach for the Highlanders.
