How do I qualify for the Tennessee Hope/Lottery Scholarship and other forms of financial aid?
Posted by:The first step is completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) in October of a student's senior year of high school. It is recommended that this be completed no later than February 1st of that school year. However, if you are unable to complete the FAFSA using current tax documents by this date, it is important that parents/guardians complete this using the previous year's information for estimation. Students and parents can return to the FAFSA to make adjustments as needed.
Reminder: Males are required to register with the Selective Service System within 30 days prior or anytime after their 18th birthday to qualify for financial aid.
