Meal Distribution During the Extended School Closure

  • Updated: April 6, 2020
In order to comply with the Governor’s request that we practice stay-at-home guidelines, we are moving to a one-day distribution of a full week of meals for breakfast and lunch beginning Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Beginning on Wednesday, grab and go bags will contain a week’s worth of meals for breakfast and lunch for each student, but instead of being individually packaged, students will receive items that can be put together for meals. For example, items might include a loaf of bread and sliced lunch meat as well as a gallon of milk. Be aware that some items are perishable and will need to be refrigerated. Young students may need assistance in carrying their food bags. Food distribution will occur once a week on Wednesdays until further notice.
