The 2021 U.S. News and World Report Best High Schools rankings featured Gatlinburg-Pittman High School as one of the best among nearly 18,000 high schools. With the ranking, school-specific data on enrollment, graduation rate, student body demographics, free and reduced-price lunch, location, school type, and state assessment results were released. Data on participation in and performance on challenging college-level coursework was also made available.
The rankings are produced in conjunction with RTI International, a global research firm. U.S. News receives AP and IB data directly from the College Board and International Baccalaureate for use in the rankings.
