Action For Healthy Kids

Big congratulations are in order for the over 860 schools that received Action for Healthy Kids grants for the 2018-2019 school year. From piloting alternative breakfast programs to implementing active indoor recess to engaging parents around improved school nutrition—combined with expert assistance from the AFHK team—schools across the country will be championing health and wellness in a wide variety of ways.

We’re grateful to our sponsors for funding these grants so that hundreds of thousands of students are better prepared to learn. Game On grants for physical activity and nutrition initiatives are sponsored by Cargill, CSX, GoGo squeeZ, and Saputo; School Breakfast grants are sponsored by Kellogg Company Fund and Walmart Foundation; and Parents for Healthy Kids grants are sponsored by ALDI.
